The Historic Speedway Group is a Non Profit Organization focused on:

• The preservation of the last remaining track from NASCAR's inaugural 1948 season.
• Preserving the history that surrounds it.
• Resurrecting former remnants of Occoneechee / Orange Speedway to the way they were formally presented.
• Gathering the community and promote fellowship for this great and historic cause.

To become a member of Historic Speedway Group download our application form below. Then you can print the application form and follow all directions on the membership application.

Annual membership is $50.00.  You will receive a membership card on a lanyard and license tag. The website will have a calendar of events for members so you can plan your involvement in track beautification days, volunteer opportunities at cruise-ins and exciting positions at the annual HSG fundraiser the end of September:

 “The Celebration of the Automobile & Racers Reunion”.
