Christmas Party
On Friday, December 3rd. Historic Speedway Group had its annual Christmas party at The Homestead Restaurant in Roxboro, NC. It was a huge turnout as members and guests shared fellowship and ate great food. The group presented its first annual Fred Cates Memorial Award to Gene Hobby. This award is awarded to the most outstanding ambassador for the group throughout the year. Gene for once was speechless when he was presented the award but he was well deserving of the award. HSG wants to thank everyone that has helped and contributed to the restoration of Occoneechee/Orange Speedway this year and looks forward to a great 2011. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
